Alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh is made with alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh as the base fabric and coated with a high-polymer alkali-resistant coating. It is combined with crack-resistant mortar to form a crack-resistant protective layer used for surface protection in thermal insulation systems. Alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh features high tensile strength, good alkali resistance, excellent crack resistance, and strong impact resistance. It is widely used in wall insulation, providing long-lasting resistance to alkaline corrosion and playing a role in crack prevention and enhancing the impact resistance of the surface layer.
I. Alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh has the following characteristics:
1. High alkali resistance strength retention and good durability;
2. Good impact resistance and high tensile strength;
3. Large plastic coating, preventing mesh misalignment;
4. Good flexibility and not easily broken.
II. Construction Method of Alkali-Resistant Fiberglass Mesh Fabric During paint finishing, pre-cut the mesh fabric according to the dimensions required in the construction plan. After evenly applying the crack-resistant mortar to the insulation surface layer, immediately press the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh fabric into place. For areas where the mesh fabric is not pressed into the mortar, apply an appropriate amount of mortar. (The new type of meshless insulation system, Yintong YT inorganic active wall insulation system, does not require mesh fabric, rivets, crack-resistant mortar, or finishing mortar.)
Precautions during the construction of alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh fabric:
1. Folding of the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh fabric is strictly prohibited during construction;
2. The overlap dimensions of the mesh fabric must comply with the requirements of the construction plan;
3. The edges and excessively long rough edges of the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh fabric should be trimmed.
