What exactly is the manufacturing process of perforated metal sheets?

Some customers only purchase perforated metal sheets but have never seen how they are manufactured. Decorative perforated metal sheets come in various specifications, including rectangular holes, square holes, diamond holes, round holes, oblong holes, hexagonal holes, cross holes, triangular holes, slotted holes, plum blossom holes, fish scale holes, patterned holes, herringbone holes, chevron holes, pentagonal star holes, irregular holes, embossed holes, special-shaped holes, and louvered holes. Perforated metal sheet manufacturers punch different shapes of holes in different materials to meet diverse needs. Production Technology and Equipment: We have state-of-the-art perforated metal sheet stamping equipment, capable of producing high-quality products with a daily output of 2000㎡. We can stamp sheet thicknesses ranging from 0.1mm to 25mm.


Sheet Leveling: Due to the varying stress levels experienced during the production of different specifications of perforated metal sheets, deformation is possible. Therefore, we use a leveling machine to restore deformed perforated sheets to their original flatness. We can level steel sheets with thicknesses from 0.8mm to 12mm.


Cutting: Previously, we produced sheets in whole pieces according to customer specifications. After production, the sheets are cut to the standard dimensions required by the customer.


Plate Cleaning: While the perforated metal mesh process requires lubricant, we also have a degreasing process to remove surface impurities, resulting in a cleaner mesh and facilitating surface treatments. In addition to pre-ordered services, we can provide a range of post-processing options, including leveling, cutting, and further processing. Following customer requirements, we can then perform further processing such as bending, rolling, welding, punching, forming, labeling, packaging, and deburring.


Surface Treatment: Perforated metal mesh products have a wide range of applications, including decoration, protection, heat dissipation, sound insulation, anti-slip, and ventilation. These industries often require surface treatments for corrosion prevention, rust prevention, and aesthetics.
