In fencing projects, the combination of fencing and barbed wire is frequently used, and this combination follows certain rules and methods.
1. Combination of Fencing and Barbed Wire Installed on Walls
There are two types of fencing installed on walls: one is installed at the top of the wall, with the fencing style being Y-shaped or curved to one side at a 30-degree angle, and barbed wire installed at the top to prevent climbing. The other is installed on the side of the upper-middle part of the wall, near the top, with the fencing height exceeding the top of the wall, and barbed wire installed at the top. This combination is commonly seen in factory fencing, prison fencing, railway fencing, and highway fencing projects.
2. Combination of Fencing and Barbed Wire Installed on the Ground
The combination of fencing and barbed wire installed on the ground is mainly divided into: Y-shaped installation and straight-line installation. The Y-shaped installation method is used for installing roller-blade barbed wire; the straight-line installation method is used for installing ordinary barbed wire.
There are two types of barbed wire: razor barbed wire and regular barbed wire. Razor barbed wire is often sold in roll form, mostly with a diameter of 50 cm, and the blade length can be controlled by stretching both ends. Regular barbed wire is a protective product with knotted barbs made of galvanized iron wire or stainless steel wire, packaged in coils and ready to install.
