Hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh, also known as exterior wall insulation mesh, is a type of wire mesh that has undergone hot-dip galvanizing, resulting in a thick layer of zinc for enhanced strength. It is used to reinforce the exterior walls of buildings. Specifically, how does hot-dip galvanized welded wire mesh work in exterior wall insulation?

The welded wire mesh polystyrene board is placed inside the exterior wall mold for pouring during construction. This allows the exterior insulation board and wall to be integrated. After removing the mold, the insulation board and wall are reassembled, saving manpower and time and reducing installation costs.


Because welded polystyrene mesh panels are large in volume, lightweight, and easy to install, they can be clad with ceramic tiles, and the process is simple, allowing for installation even in winter.


An alkali-resistant mesh fabric is used as the insulation material. This fabric is made of medium or alkali-free glass fiber, coated with an alkali-resistant polymer emulsion, and woven into a mesh after drying.


Due to its good resistance to acids and alkalis, and its high tensile strength in both warp and weft, it can evenly distribute pressure across the exterior wall insulation system and prevent damage from external pressure. The insulation structure's resistance to deformation gives the insulation layer high resistance and makes it easy to construct and control quality.


Finally, the crack-resistant mortar protective layer formed by the welded mesh and mesh fabric, together with the insulation layer formed by the insulation material, forms an exterior wall insulation system, effectively protecting the residential building envelope from external temperature changes and rainwater erosion.


This significantly reduces damage, thus solving long-term problems such as roof leaks and wall cracks, extending the lifespan of buildings and reducing maintenance costs.
