A client inquired about how to prevent people from climbing their factory's low perimeter fence. After understanding the situation, we recommended installing double-strand barbed wire and razor wire. Both can be considered ultimate barbed wire fencing, colloquially known as "barbed caltrop." The difference between the two types is that one uses iron wire, while the other uses sharp, razor-sharp metal strips; both are highly dangerous.
During the design and installation process, we strongly recommend using Y-shaped brackets for fixation.
In use, razor wire is mostly installed at the top of barbed wire fences to enhance protection. If used as wall protection, the installation must be secure to prevent it from falling due to external factors. Y-shaped supports are welded from square tubes, round tubes, or angle iron. The overall structure uses the principle of triangular stability. Holes are pre-drilled at both ends and the bottom of the bracket for easy wire threading and fixing of the razor wire during installation.
There is another method for fixing barbed wire fences during installation: using straight posts as supports. This method is more complicated to install, as the ropes need to be fixed with special clips to form a horizontal loop. This connection method is simpler in appearance.
