Trommel Screens

A Trommel Screen, or rotary screen, can also be known as a screening drum or rotary drum which rotates while screening materials, the smaller material is screened and falls through the perforations (holes) of the cylindrical drum. A trommel is a unit which is used within industries such as the solid-waste processing industries.  Trommels can be manufactured using perforated metal, woven mesh or rubber and are used in multiple applications from solid waste to raw material.

Woven Wire Trommel Screens Manufacturing Capabilities

Rubber Screens are fabricated with a steel, plasma-cut plate, which holds and supports the Rubber Screen. These screens are bolted onto the steel frame, which allows for quick and easy replacement and minimizes downtime. The advantages of Rubber Trommel Screens over perforated trommel screen is that they have increased thickness, without excessive additional weight. They are impact absorbing and perform with reduced noise levels and have a longer life span. Rubber Trommel Screens are ideal as an impact section on the upper part of a screen box or, alternatively, on a complete deck where required.
