Corrosion protection treatment required for construction mesh

The automated anti-corrosion drying production line consists of a two-layer steel frame construction mesh, made of steel rods, steel beams, and an assembly technology frame structure (one set comprises the steel mesh required for a Chinese mold design). A crane lifts the mesh onto a lower-level traveling trolley, which moves along a track driven by hydraulic cylinders. Since most of the company's products are used outdoors for extended periods, exposed to wind and sun, corrosion is inevitable. Therefore, when welding the steel mesh for shipment, we inquire with customers about galvanizing requirements. This is an effective way to extend the lifespan of the mesh.


1. Anti-corrosion Impregnation Tank


How the threaded steel mesh operates: Tank 2 is a long container containing the anti-corrosion agent. An agitator 3 is installed inside the tank, moving left and right to evenly mix the anti-corrosion agent, ensuring the stability of the impregnation quality. The movement of the agitator is driven by a motor 5 via a chain 6. Because the anti-corrosion agent is a suspension, the agitator is necessary to maintain its uniformity in the tank; otherwise, the effectiveness of the anti-corrosion coating will be affected.


2. The construction wire mesh dryer uses a steam environment as a heating medium. The steam heats the wire mesh inside the chamber via a radiator. Each chamber can hold a dozen or so sets of reinforcing mesh. The mesh is loaded through the inlet and placed on the lifting transmission chain. The chain moves once after each set of mesh is loaded, and after a certain drying time, the dried mesh is hoisted out through the outlet.

The name "bridge reinforcing mesh" can be seen in the welded steel sections of the mesh. The reinforcing mesh uses low-carbon wire, and the thickness can be determined by the user. The reinforcing mesh is arranged and welded according to latitude and longitude, with right angles formed by square spaces and cross-sectional reinforcing bars in the middle. It features a smooth mesh, solid welds, strong mesh structure, and resistance to deformation under pressure.


Due to the characteristics of smooth round construction mesh, it is often used for bridge deck reinforcement and prevention of road surface cracks. Laying the mesh and welding manholes on the ground, then covering it with a cement layer of at least 5cm, can effectively prevent ground cracks, extend the service life of the ground, and ensure personal safety. Crack-resistant steel mesh is quick to produce, inexpensive, and especially easy to install, significantly shortening the construction period, making it widely popular with customers.
