Three factors affecting the design effect and quality of perforated aluminum plate

There are three elements influencing the design effect and quality of the perforated aluminum sheet.

The first is the punching rate, the core element of reducing power consumption and influencing the overall viewing effect of a building. Different punching rates means that the different amount of light will be allowed through. The higher is the punching rate, the higher the daylight factor. The current technique can make the punching rate as high as 65 percent, in which case the punched size should be within 1500*3000. The more holes are punched, the more likely they are to influence flatness of the perforated aluminum sheet.

The second is controlling of punched holes. View effect can be adjusted by controlling the diameter, distance and arrangement of holes. If designers want to reduce power consumption for a building, they will realize this through combined control of punching rate and sheet thickness. The singular diameter of punched holes create even view effect, yet changeable diameters make changing designs.

The third is sheet thickness. Practice proves that the most suitable thickness for the exterior perforated aluminum sheet is between 1.0mm and 6.0mm. As for acoustic panel absorber, the thickness should be controlled within 3mm. It’s an effective way to maintain the flatness of the sheet by increasing its thickness.
