Purchase the underground supporting mining we must to know the difference between hot galvanized and electro galvanized, so I'll introduce some points to note as bellows.

Hot-dip galvanizing is immersion plating in the hot melted zinc bath. The production speed is fast, the coating is thick but uneven, and the market allows a minimum thickness of 45 microns and a maximum of 300 microns or more. The color is darker, consumes more zinc metal, forms an infiltration layer with the base metal, and has good corrosion resistance. The hot-dip galvanizing can be maintained for several decades in an outdoor environment.

Cold galvanizing (electro-galvanizing) is the gradual plating of zinc on the metal surface in the plating tank by the unidirectional current. The production speed is slow, the coating is uniform, the thickness is thin, usually only 3-15 microns, the appearance is bright, and the corrosion resistance is poor. It will rust in a few months. Compared to electro galvanized, hot-dip galvanizing has lower production costs and has a less environmental impact than electroplating.
