There are five main reasons for the common causes of screen blockage:
1. The stone contains a large number of critical material particles close to the separation point. That is to say, the particle size of the crushed stone is critical with the mesh size of the screen. During the screening process of the stone, such particles are stuck in the mesh and cannot be sieved smoothly, resulting in blockage, which is called critical blockage.
2. There are many materials with shapes with multiple contact points for the sieve holes.
3. There are many flake particles. Due to the crushing or the stone itself, there are many flakes in the stone, and the flakes themselves cannot be sifted smoothly in the screening. At the same time, the flakes are intertwined into a mesh, which hinders the screening of other materials and causes hole blocking.
4. The diameter of the wire used to make the screen is too thick.
5. The screening material has high water content and contains viscous substances such as mud and sand. Because there is a lot of mud in the stone, or when the stone needs to be washed with water, the fine-grained stone will stick to each other and form a group due to the intervention of water. On the other hand, the soil will stick to the screen surface. .
Except for the fourth type, the existence of the first and second types is inevitable, the third and fifth types are more or less, and the fixed mesh screen cannot effectively overcome the impact of the critical material particles on the screen mesh. Blockage, resulting in low screening efficiency of the vibrating screen. Generally, the screening efficiency of the vibrating screen with fixed mesh screen is less than 50%. Even if the amplitude is increased, the generation of blocked holes cannot be effectively solved. Moreover, increasing the amplitude may affect the service life of the screen machine.
