Tungsten Wire Mesh

Tungsten wire mesh is a kind of non-ferrous metal woven mesh. Tungsten Mesh is made of pure tungsten wire. Tungsten Mesh offers excellent high-temperature mechanical characteristics and the smallest coefficient of thermal expansion among all metals.  It is used in elevated temperature filtration applications. It has supreme thermal creeping resistance and maximum service temperature up to 3400oC. 


Tungsten wire cloth has very high tensile strength. It has the highest melting point of all metals even at high temperatures over 1650ºC. Among its properties are a melting point of 3410ºC, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures, along with good electrical and thermal conductivity. Tungsten mesh is extremely durable. 


Tungsten wire mesh is often used for its good conductivity for heat and electricity as well as for its high absorption capacity for radioactive radiation and X-rays. Tungsten wire cloth is used for battery, chemical, mine, hydrogen making, acid making, basic industry.
